India, Greece to strengthen defence partnership, expand capacity of military industries

Rajnath Singh and Nikolaos-Georgios Dendias met in New Delhi on Monday to strengthen defense cooperation between India and Greece. The meeting focused on expanding their indigenous defense industries, aligning with the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative and Agenda 2030 reforms. A Joint Declaration of Intent was signed outlining a five-year roadmap for defense industrial cooperation. Both sides also exchanged a Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2026, highlighting future military engagements between their armed forces. The visit reaffirmed the long-standing and close ties between India and Greece.
