'Most wanted' ganja smuggler nabbed in Chittoor

Mohan Babu, a repeat offender wanted in eight ganja smuggling cases across Andhra Pradesh, was arrested by a special team led by the Puthalapattu circle police in Chittoor district. The 55-year-old resident of Bandapalle village was known to procure and transport ganja from north Andhra and Odisha before selling it for profit in southern regions. The arrest was made based on reliable information about his movements, according to Deputy SP T. Sainath and Circle-Inspector D. Gopi.
