Ghee adulteration a direct assault on Hindu faith, says TDP leader Palla Srinivasa Rao
Allegations of food adulteration in religious offerings raise concerns about public health and potential abuse of power.
TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao criticized the YSRCP government for allegedly adulterating Tirumala laddu prasadam with palm oil, chemical additives, and synthetic compounds. He cited laboratory reports from NDDB, alleging that nearly 20 crore laddus were prepared using close to 68 lakh kg of the "so-called ghee." He demanded strict punishment for those responsible and accused the government of neglecting Hindu sentiments and temples.
