Sabarimala gold theft case: SIT questions Congress MP and UDF convenor Adoor Prakash
Adoor Prakash, Congress MP, was questioned by the Kerala High Court-appointed special investigation team (SIT) probing the Sabarimala gold theft case. The SIT is investigating Mr. Prakash's relationship with the prime accused, Unnikrishnan Potti, and whether he facilitated Mr. Potti's access to Sonia Gandhi’s residence in Delhi. Mr. Prakash maintains his innocence, stating that he met Mr. Potti as a constituent deeply involved in Sabarimala affairs. The questioning of Mr. Prakash comes at an inopportune time for the Congress-led UDF, which is currently campaigning on the alleged involvement of the CPI(M) in the theft.
