Navjot Kaur Sidhu expelled from Congress, days after she ‘quit’ party

Bhupesh Baghel, AICC general secretary, announced that Navjot Kaur Sidhu has been expelled from the Congress. Ms. Sidhu had previously claimed to have resigned from the party, but was suspended earlier and now faces expulsion. Ms. Sidhu criticized Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of being out of touch with ground realities and prioritizing his own interests over those of Punjab. She also accused the AAP of corruptly selling the party for personal gain.
