V.S. Achuthanandan’ s son says CPI(M) will decide whether or not to accept Padma Vibhushan
V.A. Arun Kumar, son of late V.S. Achuthanandan, announced that his family will make a decision on accepting the Padma Vibhushan conferred on his father in line with the CPI(M)'s stance and the late leader's views. Mr. Arun Kumar stated that the family values their father's public life and considers the honor an acknowledgement of his contributions, but will ultimately follow the party's position on such honors.
