Congress says government is misusing rules to silence LoP from quoting Naravane’s book on China border issue

Congress general secretary K.C. Venugopal accused the Narendra Modi Government of misusing parliamentary rules to silence Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, during a debate on the 2020 India-China border conflict. Venugopal argued that the government was attempting to prevent the publication of General (retired) Manoj Naravane’s memoir and was using procedural objections to stifle dissent. He claimed the government's actions were an example of "21st-century fascism" and a violation of parliamentary rules.
