Ambati Rambabu remanded to 14 days’ judicial custody
Ambati Rambabu, former Minister and YSR Congress Party leader, was granted a 14-day judicial remand by a court after being arrested on Saturday night for allegedly using abusive language against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and obstructing police duties. The Nallapadu police apprehended him following complaints from leaders of the Telugu Desam Party and a Sub-Inspector. He will be transferred to the Rajamahendravaram Central Prison.
