Sunil Tatkare, NCP president, refuted reports of a merger discussion between his party and Sharad Pawar’s faction. Sharad Pawar stated he wished for the two factions to reunite but had no knowledge of Sunetra Pawar's swearing-in ceremony. The Governor will administer the oath of office to Sunetra Pawar at 5 p.m. today.
