K.T. Thomas conferred Padma Vibhushan award
K.T. Thomas, a former Supreme Court judge, has been awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian award. He was appointed chairperson of three committees related to unaided professional colleges and headed a commission to suggest reforms for the police force in Kerala. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Ports Minister V. N. Vasavan congratulated him over the phone.
