Harish Rao says site visit condition was for CHP plants in BRS rule
Allegations of corruption and selective presentation of evidence raise concerns about abuse of power.
T. Harish Rao, BRS MLA and former Minister, accused Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Deputy Chief Minister, of misleading the public regarding the Singareni overburden tenders 'scam'. Rao claimed that Vikramarka selectively presented documents to support his claims while ignoring crucial details about the site visit certification condition and its true purpose. He also pointed out discrepancies in contract prices, including instances where bids were awarded at lower rates than estimates before being raised later due to the condition. Rao demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter, arguing that an internal investigation would be biased.
