Bhatti reveals ‘Site Visit Certification’ existed, mandatory across country in several Departments
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka accused a malicious campaign of fabricated stories aimed at tarnishing his image and that of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). He stated that mandatory site visit conditions in Singareni tenders were introduced based on Coal India guidelines and CMPDIL norms, existing during previous governments as well. He refuted allegations by T. Harish Rao, stating these reports are intended to damage the state's image and gain control over SCCL assets. Vikramarka suggested an inquiry into SCCL contracts from 2014 be conducted by Mr. Harish Rao and the Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy. He emphasized that the government is transparent and committed to preventing misinformation.
