KC(M) chairman Jose K. Mani’s meeting with Kochi bishop triggers political speculations
Jose K. Mani, chairman of the Kerala Congress (M), visited Bishop Antony Kattiparambil at the headquarters of the Diocese of Cochin on Thursday. He dismissed reports linking the meeting to political speculation, stating it was a "private" visit and that he expected such speculation to have ended by January 14th. While acknowledging concerns from the Church, Bishop Kattiparambil stated no political matters were discussed during their meeting. Despite both parties insisting the meeting wasn't political, it fueled speculation about the KC(M)'s potential shift to the United Democratic Front (UDF).
