Kerala Assembly witnesses unusual scene as CM ‘corrects’ Governor’s policy address

Pinarayi Vijayan, the Chief Minister of Kerala, corrected policy address delivered by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar after the latter's departure from the Legislative Assembly. Mr. Vijayan stated that Governor Arlekar made changes to paragraphs 12, 15 and 16 in the speech, omitting sections and adding others. The Cabinet-approved version of the policy address will prevail, according to Mr. Vijayan, as it aligns with the Indian Constitution and Assembly precedents.
