Two newly elected corporators from Prakash Ambedkar's Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) in the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation have pledged their support to the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena. This move strengthens the Shiv Sena’s position within the civic body, as they now hold more seats than the BJP. The decision was made by Surekha Sonawane and Vikas Kharat, who met with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and other Shiv Sena leaders to discuss development plans for their wards.
