Mumbai will get Mahayuti Mayor: Eknath Shinde; 'People chose development over emotional issues'

Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister, announced that Mumbai will have a Mahayuti Mayor after the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance secured a narrow majority in the recent civic polls. He stated that the newly elected Shiv Sena members would be provided with a common platform at a hotel and urged them to focus on serving citizens and developing their wards. Uday Samant, a party leader, emphasized that the Shiv Sena will not follow the previous Shiv Sena's path and asserted that many corporators will become unreachable for opposition parties.
