India invited to sit on Trump’s Board of Peace for Gaza

Donald Trump has invited India to join the Board of Peace for Gaza, a group formed by the U.S. to oversee governance in the territory as part of his peace plan. The plan, announced in September 2025, includes a temporary Palestinian committee overseeing Gaza's administration and a "temporary" International Stabilisation Force (ISF) being developed with international partners. India has not yet responded to the invitation, though Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the Trump peace plan in October 2025.
