Bheemanna Khandre laid to rest with state honours

Bheemanna Khandre, a veteran Congress leader and former Minister, was laid to rest with state honors in Bhalki town. Thousands attended the funeral, including religious heads, public representatives, and leaders from across party lines. Sagar Khandre, Bidar Lok Sabha member, performed the last rites alongside his son, Eshwar Khandre, who is the Forest, Ecology and Environment Minister. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar paid their condolences to the bereaved family.
