The State Election Commission (SEC) released voter turnout figures for the 29 municipal corporations in Maharashtra, with a total of 54.77% participation. Mumbai, Thane, and other major municipalities saw moderate turnout rates, while Ichalkaranji recorded the highest at 69.76%. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leads in several wards within the city, followed by the Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Indian National Congress. The SEC will issue certificates to unopposed winners on Friday.
