Nitin Nabin to be formally elected BJP president on January 20

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is preparing for the formal election of its national working president, Nitin Nabin, as party president. The election is scheduled for January 20th and will be held in Delhi with all Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers, State unit presidents, and national office-bearers expected to attend. Nabin will face nominations from three groups: one with signatures of over 20 elected state chiefs, another with signatures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and J.P. Nadda, and a third group with signatures from members of the BJP National Council.
