Congress accuses BJP of ‘double standards’ over its engagement with Communist Party of China

The party demanded transparency regarding the agenda, outcomes, and minutes of these closed-door meetings, citing concerns about China's military support to Pakistan, territorial encroachment claims, economic restrictions on Indian businesses, and alleged Chinese influence in India through projects like the Brahmaputra dam. The Congress also criticized the government for failing to inform Parliament about China-related issues despite repeated infringements by China.
