Chennai Sangamam to feature fashion show by folk artistes sporting Co-optex products
DMK Parliamentary Party leader Kanimozhi announced a new addition to the annual Chennai Sangamam folk festival: a fashion show organized in association with Co-optex. The event, taking place on January 17th at the Egmore Museum Hall, will feature over 30 traditional handloom textile artists from Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will inaugurate the festival on January 14th at the Rajarathinam Stadium. The festival will run until January 18th with performances by folk artistes across 20 locations in Chennai, including parks and public spaces.
