Edappadi K. Palaniswami, leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Tamil Nadu, will decide on talks with S. Ramadoss, founder of the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK), regarding an electoral alliance. Nainar Nagenthran, State president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stated that Palaniswami will determine who joins the party and whether the DMDK will be included in the alliance. The BJP has not yet held seat-sharing talks with the AIADMK.
