No final decision yet on party going alone in local body polls, says Nikhil Kumaraswamy

Nikhil Kumaraswamy, president of the Janata Dal (Secular) Youth Wing, stated that a final decision on whether the party will run alone in local body elections has not been made. He emphasized that the alliance was formed at the top level and any future decisions would come from there, with H.D. Deve Gowda, the party's supremo, making the ultimate call. Nikhil Kumaraswamy also questioned the Congress’ performance in other states and defended his father, H.D. Kumaraswamy, for defending a BJP MLA involved in the Ballari violence.
