PM Modi chairs roundtable with AI startups ahead of February summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with a dozen AI startups and firms in Delhi on Thursday to discuss the upcoming India AI Impact Summit. The roundtable, attended by IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of State for IT Jitin Prasada, and IT Secretary S. Krishnan, focused on the "AI for ALL: Global Impact Challenge" which selected 20 teams to showcase their work at the summit in February. Modi emphasized the importance of AI in societal transformation, highlighting India's role as a leader in the technology sector. The summit is expected to attract over 1 lakh attendees and feature heads of state from various countries.
