BJP suspends three members in Thiruvananthapuram
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) suspended three of its members for alleged efforts to defeat party candidates in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation local body elections. Karamana Jayan, BJP district president, announced the suspensions, targeting V.P. Anand from Kowdiar ward, Sunil Kumar from Kanjirampara ward, and Rajkumar from Mudavanmugal ward. The party lost in two of the three wards where they contested, while the Congress and CPI(M) won in those wards.
