Congress responsible for excluding PRLIS from AP Reorganisation Act’s Section 89, damaging Telangana’s interests: Bandi Sanjay

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar accused Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of making false statements about the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS). Kumar claimed that the BJP alone has been protesting against the BRS government over the project, and that he pressured former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to address water-related injustices. He also alleged that Congress was responsible for denying Telangana its rightful share of river waters during the united Andhra Pradesh era and criticized the exclusion of the PRLIS from the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act provision.
