Vijay’s final film, Jana Nayagan, has been postponed after the CBFC refused to issue a censor certificate. The filmmakers agreed to 27 cuts but objections from one member of the examining committee led to the postponement. This is not the first time Vijay has faced political obstacles, with several of his films facing controversies that some believe are politically motivated. His previous films, Thuppaki, Talaaivaa, Sarkar, Mersal, and Master have all been impacted by political pressures and accusations.
