2026 to see upswing in India-E.U. relationship: Jaishankar in Luxembourg

He highlighted that countries are seeking closer friendships and partnerships beyond risk mitigation, emphasizing the significance of trust in this context. Jaishankar stated that he expects increased investment from India in its relationship with Europe, including a greater focus on the EU. During his visit to Luxembourg, he met with Prime Minister Luc Frieden, Foreign Minister Javier Bethel, and Grand Duke Guillaume V, discussing various aspects of the bilateral relationship, including a potential free trade agreement.
