Sriramulu, former Minister, demanded the arrest of Nara Bharath Reddy, Ballari MLA, for allegedly murdering Congress activist Rajasekhar during a clash in Ballari on January 1, 2026. Reddy claimed that video footage showed a gunman linked to Bharath Reddy firing at close range and that the violence was a planned conspiracy. Both leaders demanded the case be handed over to the CBI and announced plans for a protest rally.
