Father of Hyderabad woman found dead in US seeks justice
Alleged murder, suspect fleeing to India, minister's involvement raises concerns.
Anand Godisala, father of Nikitha Godishala, who was found dead in Maryland on January 5th, 2026, called for justice and the repatriation of his daughter's body. Arjun Sharma, a suspect in the alleged murder, is believed to have fled to India after allegedly stabbing Nikitha. Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy expressed condolences and assured the family that he was working with the Ministry of External Affairs to bring Nikitha's remains back to India.
