Indian statement on U.S. action in Venezuela unworthy: CPI-M

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) criticized India's response to the U.S. capture of Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, calling it "unworthy" of the country's tradition of defending sovereignty. The party argued that India's statement lacked condemnation of the violation of international law and contrasted with the positions taken by BRICS partners like Brazil and South Africa. The CPI(M) demanded that India abandon its pro-U.S. stance and condemn the U.S. aggression in Venezuela.
