Chittoor police intensify road safety campaign, drone surveillance

Chittoor district police have intensified road safety awareness campaigns and expanded drone-based surveillance to combat unlawful activities. Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi launched a helmet awareness initiative on the Chittoor–Tirupati National Highway, emphasizing the importance of wearing helmets for rider safety. Deputy SP T. Sainath urged strict compliance with the helmet rule, while Chittoor I-Town police used drones to detect alcohol consumption in public spaces and apprehended violators.
