IRCTC scam case: Delhi High Court seeks CBI's response to Lalu Prasad's petition

The Delhi High Court sought a response from the CBI on a plea by RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav challenging an order framing charges against him in the alleged IRCTC scam case. Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma refused to stay the trial, pending the agency's reply. The court issued notice to the CBI, scheduled a hearing for January 14th and noted that the trial court had framed charges against Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi, son Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and others for cheating, criminal conspiracy, and corruption offenses.
