Gandhinagar typhoid surge: Amit Shah calls for swift government action

Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, has directed authorities in Gandhinagar city to address the outbreak of suspected typhoid, with 113 cases reported. The leakages in a water pipeline have been identified as the source of the disease, prompting the immediate repair and intensive inspection of the affected area. The Gujarat government has established round-the-clock OPDs and provided food for patients and their families.
