Modi's initiatives open 59 crore bank accounts, 32 crore for women

In 2014, Narendra Modi launched the Swachh Bharat and Har Ghar Toilet Mission to address India's lack of rural toilets, constructing over 10 crore household toilets by 2026. He also introduced the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, opening nearly 59 crore bank accounts, with more than 32 crore held by women. Initiatives like Ujjwala provided cooking gas connections to poor households and PM Awas Yojana registered homes in women's names. These efforts aimed at empowering women through tangible benefits rather than ideological slogans.
