In a flash flood on Wednesday, at least 95 people were killed and over 200 missing in Nepal after an avalanche near the Nepal-China border triggered a "glacier-inclusive flood" that destroyed villages and hydropower projects. The disaster also left 384 tourists unaccounted for, mostly from India. Planet Labs satellite images showed pre- and post-flood comparisons. Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered assistance to Nepal's Prime Minister Balendra Shah, whose country faced a similar flood last year.
