Left parties condemn U.S. “aggression” in Venezuela
Communist Party of India, Communist Part of India (Marxist), and the All India Forward Bloc condemned U.S. strikes on Venezuela and the capture of President Nicolás Maduro. CPI(M) general secretary M.A. Baby called the actions "naked act of aggression" and a "blind violation of international laws," while AIFB general secretary G. Devarajan demanded immediate UN intervention to halt military action and ensure Mr. Maduro's safety. D. Raja, general secretary of the Communist Party of India, labeled the strikes "blatant and criminal military aggression."
