He accused the Centre of neglecting Keralam and pursuing policies aimed at protecting corporate interests, leading to a loss of ₹600 crore in freight revenue. Shreyams Kumar, Rashtriya Janata Dal State president, also condemned the decision, stating it would make the Palakkad division unprofitable and affect 80 services originating from Mangaluru.
