Evidence tampering case: Kerala MLA and former Minister Antony Raju found guilty

A Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in Nedumangadu, Kerala found former Kerala Transport Minister Antony Raju guilty of forging evidence and tampering with the case from 1990. The court is expected to pronounce the sentence soon after a nearly two-decade-long legal battle. Raju was accused of altering evidence related to a narcotics case involving an Australian national, Andrew Salvatore, who had been caught at Thiruvananthapuram airport with drugs in his underwear. The charges include breach of trust by government officials, conspiracy, tampering with evidence, and fabrication of false documents.
