Sahil Lochab, a 19-year-old Delhi University student, lost 99% vision in his right eye due to pellet injuries during the Cockroach Janta Party-led Parliament March on July 20. He was protesting for education issues and preparing for competitive exams. On August 21, Rahul Gandhi visited the Parliament Street police station to support him. Sahil was first treated at Lady Hardinge Medical College and then transferred to AIIMS Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Center. Doctors confirmed metal pellet injuries despite initial police denial.
