A convicted rioter who instigated violence and murder died in jail.
Sajjan Kumar, a former Congress MP convicted in the 1984 Sikh riots case, died at age 80 on Thursday at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. Serving life imprisonment for his role in instigating violence and murder during the riots, he was rushed to the hospital from Tihar jail where doctors declared him brought dead.
