On August 18, 2026, the Anti-Corruption Branch arrested six individuals, including former Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain and ex-Delhi Jal Board CEO Udit Prakash Rai, in connection with an alleged corruption case involving sewage treatment plant projects. The case, registered on May 11, 2024, by the Directorate of Vigilance, accused them of manipulating tender conditions to favor Euroteck Environment Pvt Ltd and transferring funds through intermediary entities like Srijanhar and AN Enterprises. Rai received ₹1.52 crore via these transactions. Further investigation continues.
