CM challenges KCR to discuss water projects in Assembly
A. Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, accused the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government of making serious errors in river water sharing and then resorting to criticism of the current Congress government to conceal those mistakes. He alleged that the BRS government had not obtained Cabinet approval for shifting the water source of the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS) from Jurala to Srisailam, leading to cost escalation and a disparity in water allocation between the two Telugu States. Revanth Reddy also criticized the BRS's criticism of the appointment of retired bureaucrat Adityanath Das as an advisor, claiming it was driven by fear of exposure for their own past actions.
