
Indian Army chief meets Nepal PM to boost ties, ease border tensions
On Tuesday, Indian Army chief General Dhiraj Seth met Nepal's Prime Minister and Defence Minister Balendra Shah in Singha Durbar to discuss mutual interests and strengthen military ties. Earlier, Seth was conferred the honorary rank of General by President Ramchandra Paudel, continuing a tradition since 1950 between India and Nepal. The visit comes amid efforts to ease tensions over border disputes and historical relations.
