Congress MLA Chandy Oommen Defends NSS Chief Against Criticism

Congress MLA Chandy Oommen on Tuesday praised Nair Service Society (NSS) general secretary G. Sukumaran Nair, calling him an “asset” to Keralam and defending his public conduct against sharp criticism from Kerala Congress (B) leader K.B. Ganesh Kumar. Mr. Oommen termed attempts to insult Mr. Nair as “extremely vile,” while Mr. Ganesh Kumar had raised allegations regarding internal management issues, appointments, and financial transactions involving NSS-run institutions and a college in Tamil Nadu.
