
Government may take cognisance of land-related cases against Lalu, says Bihar dy CM
Potential abuse of power by hinting at selective investigation based on political affiliation.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha hinted that the Revenue and Land Reforms department may investigate reports of illegal landed property owned by Lalu Prasad, the leader of the RJD. Sinha responded to a request from the JD(U) spokesperson, stating that if an application is filed regarding this matter, his government will take action. The Bihar Revenue Service Association (BiRSA) has lodged a complaint against Sinha's conduct during public hearings, alleging he used inappropriate language towards department officials. Sinha maintains he will continue holding these meetings to address land-related issues in Bihar.
