BJP seeks NIA probe into Kogilu Layout encroachments, alleges ‘sleeper cell’ threat
BJP leaders visited Kogilu Layout in Bengaluru, where the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) recently demolished houses allegedly built on government land. R. Ashok, leader of opposition in the Legislative Assembly, questioned residents and demanded citizenship verification and an investigation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The Housing Minister B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan stated that the government is following due process to identify eligible beneficiaries for alternative housing. The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has instructed officials to conduct a comprehensive document review without haste.
