Aishwarya, MLA's Daughter, Slaps Woman Officer Over Entry Dispute at Temple
On August 12 at 8.15 pm, Aishwarya, daughter of Tumakuru Rural MLA B Suresh Gowda, allegedly assaulted woman sub-inspector Savitha Patil during Bhima Amavasya celebrations at Arathi Ukkada temple in Mandya district. Aishwarya verbally abused and slapped the officer after an entry delay dispute. Savitha filed a complaint; a case was registered under non-bailable sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, but Aishwarya remains free. Gowda apologized for the incident.
