
Sukhbir Singh Badal Attacked with Kirpan, Smiles: "Feel Perfect"
On Thursday, Sukhbir Singh Badal, former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab and Akali Dal chief, was attacked at Gurdwara Mata Sahib Devan Ji Mugat in Nanded, suffering a hand injury from a 'kirpan' wielded by a person dressed as a Nihang Sikh. On Friday, smiling and with his right hand in a cast, Badal met reporters outside Yashosai Hospital in Maharashtra, declaring he feels "perfect" and is not afraid. He attributed the attack to forces opposing peace in Punjab and thanked Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj for protection.
